Carol Francis (Murphy) Williams, age 72 years 11 months, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mrs.  Williams was born November 12, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Fred Wisdom and Carrie (Fields) Murphy. Carol attended the Indianapolis Public Schools. She was married to Gerald Williams in 2001. He preceded her in death.

Carol lived in Indianapolis all of her life. Gave her life to Jesus Christ and was baptized at 25th Street Baptist Church, by the late, Reverend Charles Ellis, Jr. Carol loved to give of herself, her time and her treasurer to others.  Despite her sickness, she would help everyone.

Survivors; two Sons, Mark Murphy and Rashad Williams of Indianapolis; one daughter, Felicia Williams of Indianapolis; one Sister, Betty Cruz of Indianapolis; two 1st Cousins, Maggie Jones (Muncie) and Yvonne Williams of Indianapolis; seven Grandchildren, Ke’Arra Nyree Myers, Rashad Williams Jr., Ricky Antonio Harris; Devon Williams, Danielle Williams, Daisha Williams, and Javon Williams.  Carol also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by another son Gerald Williams Jr. and her older Sister Dorothy Murphy.

A celebration of Life will be held at 25th Street Baptist Church, 525 W. 25th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208, on Saturday, October 20th at 12 PM with visitation starting at 10 AM.
